Daniel Craig is a professional who is perfect, slim, well dressed and polite, he's a hero without a name. He was treating cocaine and ecstasy and other commodities, he has made a lot of money for himself but by keeping hands clean and staying under the radar. After making the decision to retire, the aim is to liberate ourselves from the world of crime, drugs and violence and live a simple, quiet life with the money he had collected.
But before this can all happen, crime boss Jimmy Price (Kenneth Cranham) wants two last favors from him.
First, he must track down the missing daughter of drug addicts from the criminal Eddie Temple (Michael Gambon).
Second, he must negotiate the sale of shipping ecstasy with The Duke (Jamie Foreman), a loose cannon who hide behind the small of his league.
But the routine transactions are not going according to plan. Instead, duplicity and hidden alliances become the order of the day, in the struggle for power that reaches from the crack dens of London to the highest ranks of British society. Quickly he learns he is part of the machine that is much greater than imagined, and out will not be as easy as getting in.
